Job Description
An industrial distributor and reseller of valves and instrumentation parts for refineries is seeking a dedicated Production Worker. This role requires someone to manage warehouse operations independently, including order preparation, pipe measurement, cutting, lining, and flaring, as well as shipment preparation and material organization.
Responsibilities
Prepare and process orders by measuring and cutting pipe to specified lengths using a saw.
Operate a conrac machine to line pipes and a press to flare pipe ends.
Move pipes, valves, and instrument tubing manually or using a forklift.
Organize materials in the warehouse and prepare them for shipment.Essential Skills
Proficient forklift operation skills.
Experienced saw operator or machine operator.
Ability to read and accurately use a measuring tape.
Minimum of 3 years of industrial experience.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in tack welding.
Proven ability to work independently and manage warehouse operations solo.

Work Environment
The role is based in a small warehouse and distribution area connected to an office. The warehouse is non-climate controlled and can become very hot during summer months. The position requires standing throughout the day and adherence to a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm with a one-hour lunch break. Proper attire includes steel-toed boots, jeans, work shirt, and safety glasses. The work environment offers flexibility in hours, allowing early arrivals, working through lunch, or staying late as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clute, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
