Job Title: Yard Forklift Operator/First Shift
Job Description
This role involves moving materials within a yard and warehouse setting using a 10k forklift. The primary task includes handling 24' pipes, joints, couplings, and pallets typically used in the municipal industry. The operator will be responsible for palletizing materials and wrapping them as required by the order. Daily responsibilities include receiving a pick sheet and pulling orders accordingly, with the forklift being driven in an uneven yard.
Responsibilities
Operate a 10k forklift to move materials within a yard and warehouse environment.
Handle 24' pipes, joints, couplings, and pallets.
Palletize and wrap materials as per order requirements.
Receive and execute orders based on a daily pick sheet.
Safely drive the forklift in uneven yard conditions.Essential Skills
Proficiency in operating a forklift.
Experience in handling and moving long dimensional items.
Ability to lift up to 80lbs.
Capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and in non-air conditioned environments.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment
The role primarily takes place in the yard and involves working outdoors in the elements and in a non-climate-controlled shop. Employees typically work 45-50 hours per week and are provided with a 1-hour lunch break.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Houston, Texas.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $22.00/hr.
