Job Title: Warehouse Loader

Job Description

Join our team as a Warehouse Loader where you will play a vital role in truck loading operations. This position requires the operation of all necessary equipment to load bulk tanker trailers while ensuring safety and adherence to schedules.

Pay:

$19.73 - $20.13 starting pay

Shifts:

1st (6am-6:30pm 4 on, 4 off)

3rd (6pm - 6:30am 4 on, 4 off)

Responsibilities

Operate equipment required for loading bulk trucks and railcars.

Work safely on top of bulk trucks or railcars using appropriate fall protection.

Follow a schedule to ensure orders are loaded by the correct departure time.

Perform sanitation and preventative maintenance tasks.

Direct other employees in proper safety, food safety, and sanitation procedures.Essential Skills

Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.

Basic problem solving and mechanical aptitude.

Ability to stand and walk continuously for 8-12 hours.

Ability to climb stairs and ladders.

Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds/23 kilograms.

Willingness to learn about and operate all equipment in the bulk house.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in hand tool, assembly, and mechanical assembly.

Experience in general labor and unloading.

Work Environment

This role involves working in a warehouse environment with exposure to all weather conditions. The position follows a night shift schedule from 6pm to 6:30am on a 4 on and 4 off rotation. Appropriate safety measures and equipment are provided.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CHATTANOOGA, TNPay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.73 - $20.13/hr.
