Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment to ensure continuous production support. You will conduct scheduled maintenance and perform comprehensive preventative maintenance checks on a routine basis.

Responsibilities

Conduct emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment.

Perform scheduled maintenance and preventative maintenance checks.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, including PLCs, on production machines.

Maintain plant buildings and grounds, including plumbing, painting, mowing, and other maintenance tasks.

Ensure compliance with ISO guidelines, OSHA Safety and Health regulations.

Maintain a clean and orderly work area.Essential Skills

2-year degree in Mechanical or Electrical field.

1+ year experience with 3-phase electrical, 480V, and control systems.

1+ year experience working with PLCs and troubleshooting.

Ability to lift 50lbs.

Basic math skills.

Willingness to learn and keep up with current technologies.Additional Skills & Qualifications

1+ year maintenance experience in a sheet metal facility or on sheet metal equipment is preferred.

1+ year experience editing PLC programs is preferred.

Experience with Trumpf equipment is a plus; training will be provided if necessary.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled, wide-open, and very clean environment with a laid-back atmosphere. You will be the sole technician on your shift, which runs from Monday to Friday, 10 pm to 6 am. The dress code includes steel or composite-toed footwear and casual attire, with layers as needed. Training for Trumpf equipment is available, and all tools are provided.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
