CNC Programmer: Loves Park, Illinois

Our customer in Loves Park, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting CNC Programmers to work full-time on 1st shift. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for creating and optimizing CNC programs that support precision manufacturing using live tooling technology.

Responsibilities of the CNC Programmer:

Program CNC machines with live tooling using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.)

Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to develop machining instructions

Set up, test, and fine-tune CNC programs to ensure quality and efficiency

Collaborate with machinists and engineers to optimize production processes

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with programs, tooling, or setups

Maintain documentation for programs, revisions, and tooling requirements

Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to meet tolerances and deadlines

Ensure safety procedures and quality standards are met at all times

CNC Programmer Requirements and Qualifications:

Proven experience programming CNC lathes/mills, especially with live tooling

Proficiency in CAM software and G-code editing

Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Familiarity with CNC machine operation and setup is a plus

Strong communication and teamwork skills

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred

Pay for CNC Programmer: Starting at $22-27/hour.

Schedule: Monday - Friday from 6:30am – 3:00pm. OT on Saturdays as needed.
