Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) will play a vital leadership role in our residential substance use disorder (SUD) treatment facilities and outpatient behavioral health (BH), SUD, and psychiatric treatment programs. This BSN-prepared nurse will oversee the operations of the medication rooms and provide supervision, mentorship, and skill development for medical assistants. The RN will collaborate closely with psychiatric prescribers, medical providers, mental health (MH) professionals, and substance use disorder (SUD) specialists to support the health and recovery of our clients.

RESPONSIBLITIES
Oversee daily operations of the medication rooms to ensure safe and compliant medication management.
Supervise and mentor medical assistants and medication room assistants, supporting ongoing training and skill development.
Collaborate with psychiatric and medical providers to coordinate care for clients.
Provide nursing assessments and respond to medical concerns as needed within the inpatient setting.
Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and protocols.
Support quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
Assist with the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in client health records.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning.
Conduct or support audits and inspections related to medication handling and nursing care.
Serve as a resource and role model for staff on best nursing practices.
Foster a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for clients and staff.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or inpatient care.
Experience with healthcare quality programs or performance improvement initiatives preferred.
Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
Licenses/Certificates/Registration:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State.
Additional certification in behavioral health or addiction nursing is a plus.
