Job Description
Purpose
The purpose of this role is to be entirely responsible for a project from assignment until all money is collected. Sign up, Estimate, Get Approvals, and Coordinate all labor and materials on assigned projects. Achieve the Key Result Areas (KRA’s).
KRA # 1 Safety Zero lost time accidents and OSHA violations on all assigned projects.
KRA # 2 Timeline Complete assigned projects before the due date.
KRA #3 Budget Complete assigned projects under or at the budgeted costs.
KRA #4 Customer Complete assigned projects with a satisfied customer, receiving at least one 5-star Google review monthly.
KRA # 5 Invoicing Invoice and collect a minimum of $1,000,000.00 annually. (weekly average is $19,231.00)
KRA #6 Communication Adhere to the communication expectations on page 2 of this document.
Critical Requirements • Ensure all decisions & actions are aligned with the company’s core values of Honesty, Accountability, and Grit. • Continually help find, onboard & coach new subcontractors, suppliers & internal labor. • Help the Emergency Services during major weather events in the metro area as needed. • This is not a typical 8 hours per day/40 hours per week position. Answering phone calls and working outside normal business hours is typical for this position.
ROLE DESCRIPTION CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER
New Job Lead Phase
o Communicate with the customer within 12 hours of receiving a new lead
o Complete a site inspection within 32 hours
o Upload an estimate within 84 hours
o Enter detailed job notes in our job management software multiple times weekly.
• Estimate Approval Phase
o Follow up with the adjuster at least twice per week via (2) phone calls and (2) messages (XactAnalysis, email, text, etc..)
o Call the customer once per week to update them. Ask them to call the adjuster to help get the estimate approved.
o Email our Construction Administrator to request a job folder within 4 hours of receiving estimate approval.
o The Construction Administrator is to create the Job folder and deliver it to the Construction Coordinator within 24 hours of estimate approval.
o Enter detailed job notes in our job management software multiple times weekly. • Work In Progress Phase
o Call the customer a minimum of once per week to update them on the job progress. (do this even when you feel there is nothing new to tell the customer)
o Send trade-specific scopes of work with budget expectations to all subcontractors and suppliers within 72 hours of receiving the job folder.
o Enter detailed job notes in our job management software multiple times weekly.
