Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Shop Helper, where you will apply your mechanical aptitude and attention to detail in a machine shop environment. You will be responsible for finishing aluminum and stainless steel materials using various tools and techniques. We offer training opportunities to expand your skills, including graining and honing techniques.
Responsibilities
Utilize a graining technique to ensure aluminum grains are aligned.
Straighten aluminum parts to maintain precise measurements.
Apply honing techniques for finishing aluminum parts.
Insert stainless steel threaded materials into aluminum blocks.
Ensure a smooth finish by inserting metal parts into a tumbler.
Maintain a clean and safe workspace.Essential Skills
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Attention to detail.
Machine shop experience.
Ability to use basic hand tools.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Finishing or deburring experience is a plus.
Willingness to learn how to properly finish machined parts.

Work Environment
Work in a machine shop environment with approximately 20 CNC machines and a close-knit team of 13 employees on the floor. Our facility operates on the 1st shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime when needed.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Souderton, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
