Staff Software Engineer

Telecommuting permitted 100% - may live anywhere in the U.S.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m.

- 5:30 p.m.

Salary: $195,500.00 -$205,500.00/yr.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least 6 years of experience in software engineering (5 of which must be post-baccalaureate progressive), or a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in software engineering.

Of the required experience, must have at least 6 years of experience in each of the following (which may be gained concurrently): Programming web-based applications with JavaScript, Java and HTML/CSS; Developing, debugging, and testing web applications with Jest, Selenium, or TestCafe; API design & implementation for REST, gRPC, or GraphQL architectures; Data modeling and optimization with Postgres and MySQL using ORM libraries in JavaScript and Java; Frontend development with React, Angular, or Material UI; Backend development with NodeJS, Java/J2EE, or microservice architecture; CI/CD automation using Jenkins, Gitlab CI, or Argo CD; Multi-tenant architectures and cloud-native infrastructure technologies including Kubernetes and Terraform; Integration with authentication and authorization standards including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, or SAML; Leading technical projects, influencing product roadmap planning, setting technical direction, and mentoring senior engineers; and Working with Git and participating regularly in code reviews.
