Responsibilities:

Ensure all resort buildings, equipment, vehicles, and other assets are functioning optimally.

Oversee property landscaping and maintenance.

Manage vendor relations and contracts related to facilities and maintenance.

Oversee Capital Expenditures (CapEx) projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution.

Manage the Repair & Maintenance (R&M) Profit & Loss (P&L) budget.

Lead the resort’s safety and security initiatives to protect guests, team members, and company assets.

Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of Fire/Life Safety equipment.

Develop, implement, and oversee emergency response procedures.

Assist in security investigations when necessary.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to safety, building codes, and environmental standards.

Lead, mentor, and train the facilities, safety, and security teams.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and sustainability.

Implement Leadership, Management, and Accountability (LMA) best practices to optimize department performance.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of building maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.

Experience managing budgets, capital projects, and vendor contracts.

5+ years of experience in engineering, facilities management, or a similar role.

Leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a diverse team.

Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to safety and building maintenance.
