Journeyman Sheet Metal Mechanic

Job Description

Skillforce is currently hiring experienced Journeyman Sheet Metal Mechanics for multiple commercial sites throughout Baltimore, MD. This is ongoing work with a Monday–Friday schedule, 40 hours per week, and the potential for overtime. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of commercial sheet metal experience.Job Duties:

Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate duct and metal system installations

Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products according to specifications

Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on materials

Install HVAC ducts, fittings, and other related sheet metal components

Use hand and power tools to cut, bend, and shape sheet metal

Ensure proper fit, seal, and alignment of systems

Follow all safety guidelines and maintain high-quality workmanshipJob Requirements:

At least 5 years of commercial sheet metal experience

Ability to read and understand blueprints

Skilled in fabricating and installing HVAC ducts and related systems

Proficient with standard sheet metal tools and equipment

Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings (no exceptions)

Must have your own basic hand tools and PPE
