Need experience with atrial vein harvesting. Full time with variable call on weekdays and weekends.
This role involves providing cardiac thoracic services, requiring efficient surgical skills for CVOR and vascular surgery. Must be independent with endoscopic and vessel harvesting, including radial.
Required Surgeries and Procedures:- CABG EVH and open vessel harvesting- TAVR- TACR- Vascular surgery- ECMO
Responsibilities:- Assist with patient positioning, skin preparation, and draping- Provide wound exposure, closure, and dressing application- Handle tissue and surgical instruments appropriately- Assist in controlling blood loss, suturing tissue, sponging, retraction, and use of suction- Operate complex surgical equipment like lasers and diagnostic equipment- Make surgical incisions and closures independently- Perform endoscopic or open vessel harvesting, arterial and venous line insertion- Administer local anesthetic for surgical procedures- Assist with invasive procedures in the Cath Lab and at bedside- Perform therapeutic procedures including wound care, venipuncture, insertion of central venous pressure lines, intubation, bladder catheterization, suturing, thoracentesis, cardiac resuscitation, and defibrillation- Assist in preoperative care and patient workup- Confirm operating schedules and availability of blood before surgery- Participate in postoperative care; assess patient's postoperative progress and implement therapy- Collect and document patient progress- Rotate call coverage for invasive and surgical procedures- Participate in Quality Programs and attend relevant meetings, conferences, and continuing medical education seminars
