Entry-Level Class B Driver Trainee

Safety-Kleen is excited to announce an opportunity for an Entry-Level Class B Driver Trainee. This role will provide comprehensive training on driving a Class B box truck, servicing parts washer machines, picking up hazardous waste, and selling company products and services in designated routes. Safety-Kleen will cover the costs for obtaining your CDL!

Key Responsibilities:

Prioritize health and safety by adhering to all safe work practices and policies

Complete daily service schedules, deliveries, and pickups promptly

Switch out 15- & 30-gallon containers of solutions at customer locations

Accurately complete all required documentation and labeling

Generate and collect leads for new products and services from customers

Promote additional products and services to existing clients

Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations

Safely operate vehicles following DOT regulations and guidelines

Observe all corporate safety and environmental health standards

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Must obtain a CDL B within 180 days of employment (company-paid)

Must acquire Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 30 days after obtaining CDL B

Ability to work independently while managing time effectively

Basic computer and math skills required

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Good problem-solving abilities

Capability to perform physical functions related to the job

Successfully pass a background check, drug test, and physical examination

Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent customer service skills

Experience with commercial route driving (Class C or non-CDL)
