Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Data Entry Assistant to join our team! This Data Entry Assistant position is perfect for someone with strong Excel skills and a background in retail and/or data entry or bookkeeping. You'll play a key role in maintaining accurate records, inputting data efficiently, and supporting the team with administrative tasks. This role is fully remote.
Responsibilities of the Data Entry Assistant:
Accurately input and update data into Excel spreadsheets and company databases.
Perform data audits to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Organize and maintain files, records, and documentation.
Assist with basic reporting and data analysis tasks using Excel.
Communicate with internal teams to ensure data integrity.
Perform general administrative duties as needed.
Required Experience/Skills for the Data Entry Assistant:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including data entry, formulas, and basic functions).
Previous experience in retail and/or data entry/bookkeeping preferred.
Experience with order entry and purchase orders is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Education Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
