Role: Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for web, mobile, and API platforms, ensuring product quality through robust automation solutions.Key Responsibilities
Test Automation Development:Build and maintain scalable automated test frameworks.
Create test suites for UI, API, and mobile platforms.
Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Develop modular, reusable test code and troubleshoot issues.
Technical Leadership:Mentor junior engineers and manual testers transitioning to automation.
Research and recommend testing tools/technologies.
Optimize test execution and maintain testing environments.
Document best practices and standards.
Testing Strategy:Develop detailed test scenarios and cases.
Transition manual tests to automated solutions.
Implement data-driven, performance, load, and security testing.
Quality Assurance:Review requirements for testability.
Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback.
Track automation coverage and participate in release readiness.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 4+ years in test automation development.
Programming: Proficiency in C# and MSTest (or similar languages).
Frameworks: Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
Platforms: Testing across web, mobile, and API.
Best Practices: Knowledge of automation patterns (e.g., Page Object Model).
Tools: Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and Git.
Skills: Strong problem-solving, debugging, and Agile methodology knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow).
Mobile testing with Appium or similar.
API testing with Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
Performance testing with JMeter, Gatling, or similar.
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
Contributions to open-source testing projects.
Testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB).
