We are seeking a Lead Lighting Engineer (L1) to work at our Denver Show & Event Services branch in Denver, CO.
We are only considering experienced live event working engineers/technicians who are well-seasoned with stage and event lighting equipment for our corporate events and conferences.

Key Responsibilities:
Demonstrate and encourage the job mission to clients and other INSPIRE team members.
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to interact seamlessly with both sales and operation team members.
Ability to interact with clients on-site in the absence of an Account Executive or Production Manager.
Prepare, specify, and coordinate equipment for the event.
Aid in sustaining INSPIRE's quality standards and profitability.
Demonstrate evidence of organization and answerability in position.
Assist the company in strategies for a safe and green working environment.
Pull Equipment, Load In, Set up, Operate, Takedown, Loadout & Shop duties.
AV Tech duties as needed.
Coordinate Show & On-site requirements, Show Labor coordination.
Warehouse & Equipment Responsibilities.
Train staff on proper usage and maintenance of lighting equipment.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience, Skills, & Qualities:
3-5+ years of experience setting up and operating large-scale production lighting equipment.
Lighting fixture setup and focus, electrical and dimmer controls, lighting console programming and operation. Experience with Elation and Obsidian boards preferred.
Wide knowledge related to electricity. Design of electronic systems (Dimmers, lamps, motors, etc.).
Knowledge in prevention of “short circuits” and “live” lighting handling.
Use of motors.
Knowledge of rigging techniques to be able to propose and/or supervise rigging systems.
Knowledge of weight limits (shackles span sets truss motors, ground support).
To be able to calculate the weight of the equipment to be hung (lighting, video, audio, etc).
Strong computer skills – CAD or Vectorworks a plus.
Wide knowledge in lighting consoles for conventional lamps, and robotics.
General Audio, Lighting, Rigging, Décor, Staging abilities & knowledge.
Working familiarity with R2 Rental Management Software.
Other Qualifications:
Degree as Specialized Technician or related career with electricity and/or electronic. proven experience of more than 5 years.
Excellent customer service skills proven through demonstrated ability to interact well with clients both internal and external.
Maintain a professional image in compliance with company appearance/dress code.
Must have a clean driving record.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
The salary range for this role is $70,000-$80,000
