Job description
Day to Day job Duties:
Working closely with onsite / offshore teams and customer business owners / users to develop functional specifications with minimal / no supervision
Business Process knowledge in Supply-Chain including Logistics, Planning, Sourcing, Transportation, Global Trade Compliance, Carrier integrations, and use of 3PLs
* Strong experience in solution architecting in SAP
Expert Knowledge SAP S/4 HANA and related software
Knowledge of Logistic techniques, methods, and tools. Subject matter best practices
Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA Reporting capabilities
Develops process documentation for processes and procedures
Publish communication related to the deployment of new functionality
Translate user requirements into user requests and functional specification
Liaise with Divisional Management to understand direction within their functional area of responsibility
Understand compliance and regulatory matters to be reviewed by experts
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
Translate high-level information into details as well as summarize detailed information
Communicate and collaborate with users to analyze information needs and functional requirements
Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
Serve as the conduit between the user community and the software development team through which requirements flow
Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates
Liaise between the business, technology teams and support teams
Basic Qualifications:
5-7 years of Functional experience in SAP SD, Global Trade Compliance, Carrier Integration, and other related modules
Experience in integrating other SAP Modules like MM / PP, FI /CO
Ability to unit test development, work closely with business in requirement management / gathering, writing detailed functional specification, manage user expectations and work closely with the cross functional teams to get the job done.
Strong hands on experience in SAP Sales and Distribution modules and integration with other modules like SAP MM / PP and FI / CO
Degree: e.g. Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Travel: 100% for the first 9 month; 25% thereafter (includes global)
