Salary: $16.50 - $22.50 Hourly DOE
New to ABA? No problem! We are looking for new or experienced technicians who have a passion working 1-1 with kiddos!
Position will require the ability to work in-center in Livonia, MI.
Hours of operation: Monday-Friday 8am 5:30pm.

Requirements
Education:High School Diploma
Preferred Education: Bachelors in Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, Health Care, Human Services or related preferred
Experience required: None
Preferred experience:Experience with autism and related disorders, experience working with children ages 0-16, and/or RBT Certification
Physical Requirements:Ability to kneel, squat, crawl, lift, stand and sit for extended period of time as required by therapy services
Transportation:Must have reliable source of transportation and be willing and able to travel between different jobs throughout Wayne County
Position Summary
The Behavior Technician will provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children diagnosed with Autism and related developmental disabilities in the home, community and school settings. The Behavior Technician will collect data on programs, provide support with parent trainings, and assist the Behavior Analyst in the behavior assessments.
Job Duties
Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements.
Follow the prescribed behavior skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols as assigned.
Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
Assist with parent/caregiver training in the line with client individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols.
Effective communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Maintain a clean,safeand organized work and therapy environment.
Collaborate with treatment team including clients, parents, and caregivers, outside professionals, Lead Behavior Technicians, ABA Interns, and co-workers.
Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attend required trainings.
Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA laws.
Perform all other tasks as assigned.
