Linkitall LLC (DBA LIA) is seeking a Writer to provide comprehensive strategic communications enterprise management support services to the USA MEDCOM, Army Recovery Care Program (ARCP).
Major responsibilities (not all inclusive):
Author content for multiple media platforms including feature stories, public information releases, briefings, and social media, ensuring alignment with the organization's communication strategy.
Conduct interviews on a wide range of topics related to ARCP to develop appropriate content for various stakeholder categories and social media platforms.
Collaborate with the Web Developer, Social Media Manager, and Graphics Designer to develop and publish compelling, persuasive, audience-tailored content, including photography and videography.
Ensure all content aligns with ARCP's strategic communication goals and messaging strategy.
Evaluate, update, and distribute government-approved WCT program materials to reflect leadership direction and new branding, including newsletters, fact sheets, brochures, and other necessary materials.
Support content development and publication through articles, photography, videography, and emerging social media tools.
Edit, write, and rewrite technical articles, publications, presentations, and other materials to clearly communicate research findings, technical developments, and other relevant information to external audiences.
Discover novel stories and identify interview subjects.
Utilize multimedia tools and techniques to effectively engage national and international media during high-profile adaptive reconditioning events, in collaboration with the Web Developer and Social Media Manager.
Conceptualize and create new materials to support emerging program missions such as Army Trials, Warrior Games, Invictus, Warrior Care Month, and other events focused on career and education outreach, advocacy awareness, and more.
Evaluate internal procedures and establish and document processes that support the continuous improvement of business practices.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in journalism or communications.
4+ years of relevant experience.
Understanding of applicable Government and/or industry standards.
Expertise in various forms of content development such as writing for features, creative, public information, briefings, and social media, with the ability to ensure content across all platforms remains consistent with organizational communication strategy.
Must have familiarity with Army Regulation 360-1.
Must be able to write as per AP Style writing.
