Position Title: Account Executive Digital Forensics & Cybersecurity, Law Enforcement

Location: Remote (U.S.-based) or Hybrid (DC Metro Area)

Position Summary

Oxygen Forensics is seeking a driven and experienced Account Executives with a background in Law Enforcement. This high-impact role requires a unique combination of frontline digital forensics experience, proven sales expertise, and knowledge of public sector funding strategies. The ideal candidate will have served as a digital forensics examiner within a U.S. law enforcement agency and now seeks to apply that knowledge to drive technology adoption across public sector markets.

Youll manage the entire sales cyclefrom prospecting through closewhile collaborating with internal teams and channel partners to deliver mission-critical solutions that empower investigators and public safety professionals. This is a quota-bearing, full-cycle sales position requiring a consultative approach, deep customer insight, and strong technical aptitude.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Execution

Manage the full sales process, including lead qualification, presentations, proposals, RFPs, and contract negotiations.

Consistently meet or exceed quota goals in assigned territory or vertical.

Strategically engage new prospects and grow existing accounts using a consultative, solution-based sales methodology.

Provide regular forecasts and pipeline updates using CRM tools and team meetings.

Territory & Account Management

Focus on sales within the State and Local law enforcement sectors, including state and local agencies, public safety entities, and investigative bodies.

Execute a territory-specific go-to-market plan aligned with procurement cycles, funding timelines, and contract vehicles.

Coordinate with channel partners (VARs, MSPs) to expand reach and close business.

Client Engagement & Technical Expertise

Leverage your digital forensics experience to build trust, demonstrate value, and tailor solutions to investigative workflows.

Deliver in-person and virtual product demos, proof-of-concepts, and technical overviews to decision-makers and end users.

Maintain deep product knowledge of Oxygen Forensics suite and stay current with competitive solutions in the market.

Grants & Funding Enablement

Identify and pursue federal, state, and local grants applicable to digital forensics and law enforcement technology purchases.

Collaborate with law enforcement leadership, IT stakeholders, and government grant offices to align funding strategies with agency needs.

Assist clients in positioning Oxygen Forensics solutions within their grant applications and technology funding proposals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Inside Sales, and Channel Account Managers to maximize deal velocity.

Provide customer feedback to product and development teams to inform roadmap priorities.

Required Qualifications

Law Enforcement Experience

Minimum of 3 years as a digital forensics examiner or investigator within a U.S.-based state, local, or tribal law enforcement agency.

Hands-on experience using tools like Oxygen Forensics, Cellebrite, Magnet AXIOM, or similar required.

Sales Experience

Minimum of 3 years of quota-carrying sales experience, preferably in digital forensics, cybersecurity, eDiscovery, or related software/SaaS technologies.

Demonstrated success managing a full sales cyclefrom prospecting to closein public sector environments.

Experience selling to both technical stakeholders and executive leadership in government settings.

Grant Acquisition Experience

Demonstrated ability to identify, write, and secure public sector grants related to law enforcement technology.

Skilled in working with law enforcement agencies to align software solutions with strategic goals and funding opportunities.

Sales & Technical Skills

Strong presentation skills (live and virtual).

Proficiency in navigating procurement, contract vehicles, and public sector RFPs.

Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce).

Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Education

Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice, Computer Science, Public Safety, Business, or a related field preferred.

Additional Details

Fully Remote or hybrid role (corporate HQ in Alexandria, VA)

Up to 40% travel required within territory
