$80,000Responsibilities:
Incorporate different ingredients in a creative way to produce fresh and innovative menu items and specials
Provide guidance and direction to staff, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance to make the kitchen run efficiently
Recruit, train, and lead all kitchen personnel while instilling a sense of teamwork through positive feedback, mentoring, and support
Control department costs that are under your management, such as food, supplies, uniforms, and equipment, and work with vendors to get the best products at a cost-effective price
Be responsible for the overall success of the daily culinary operations, with an emphasis on surpassing guest expectations while driving revenue and profit
Ensure that all food preparation, including processes, portioning, and garnishing, is well supervised, and confirm that the finished dishes are visually appealingQualifications:
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
Must have 7-8 years of culinary experience for this role
Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and coworkers
Candidates need a strong understanding of compliance with kitchen safety and food storage requirements
