The Events Manager is a key brand ambassador responsible for driving revenue through group dining, private events, and full buyouts at Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining locations. This role manages the full event lifecycle—from lead generation and proposal creation to on-site execution and post-event follow-up—while collaborating with culinary, marketing, and operations teams. Success in this role requires exceptional communication, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering world-class experiences.Sales & Business Development
· Generate and convert leads for private dining, offsites and buyouts.
· Cultivate strategic partnerships with corporate clients, DMCs, hotel concierges, wedding planners, and community organizations.
· Conduct site inspections and manage outreach for local market activations, conventions, and special events.
· Create quarterly sales and marketing plans and meet or exceed revenue goals.
· Respond to event inquiries within 24 hours with menus, availability, and pricing.Event Planning & Execution
· Serve as the main point of contact for clients from inquiry to execution.
· Create and manage proposals, contracts, BEOs, budgets, and floorplans.
· Coordinate all event logistics including menu planning, AV, rentals, floral, staffing, and vendor communication.
· Supervise, as needed, on-site event execution and address any service issues with discretion and poise.
· Collaborate with chefs and beverage directors to create seasonal menus and specialty offerings.Administrative & Reporting
· Maintain CRM and event platforms (e.g., Tripleseat, DineWise), ensuring accurate records and reporting.
· Collaborate with accounting to manage invoicing, deposits, and post-event reconciliation.
· Provide weekly recaps and event updates to the Director of Events.
· Attend weekly BEO meetings and maintain updated convention calendars.Marketing & Brand Support
· Partner with the marketing team on outbound campaigns, seasonal promotions, and database growth.
· Represent the brand at industry mixers, community events, and hotel showcases.
· Support photoshoots, styled events, and the creation of branded sales tools and collateral.Team & Cross-Departmental Collaboration
· Consult with culinary, bar, and operations teams to ensure flawless execution.
· Schedule appropriate service coverage and brief on-site teams in advance.
· Assist in planning and executing internal functions or company events as needed.
· Promote a culture of excellence and teamwork across all restaurant departments.Qualifications
· Minimum 3–5 years in event sales, catering, or luxury hospitality.
· Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
· Proven ability to meet sales goals and manage high-volume event portfolios.
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms, and event planning software.
· Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods of time, twist at the neck and trunk, bend at the waist and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, reach overhead, above shoulders and horizontally. Employees will use hands to handle objects and tools, and operate service equipment. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40-pound objects. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employees may use vision to monitor food quality and quantity and may also order supplies, etc.
Work Conditions: May require evening and weekend hours; may require local travel. Must be comfortable working across multiple venues, including both indoor and outdoor environments, and occasionally off-site. While performing the duties of this job, the employee generally works in an indoor office environment. You will usually be based indoors, splitting your time between the corporate office, meeting with clients at various restaurant locations, and/or at off-site event venues.
During events—especially those held outdoors, across multiple venues, or at off-site locations—there may be changes in climate or exposure to varying weather conditions as a result of the event environment.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but may be loud depending on the specific venue or equipment operation.
