Key Responsibilities of the Controller:

Lead the full month-end close process

Prepare monthly financial statements and analysis packages, partnering closely with operations

Manage budgeting and forecasting processes

Oversee cost accounting, including setting annual overhead rates and recalculating monthly

Calculate month-end inventory, absorption rates, and make necessary adjustments

Collaborate with Operations leadership to provide clear insights and explanations behind financial data

Manage and mentor 2 direct reports

Qualifications for the Controller:

5+ years of experience in manufacturing finance

Strong expertise in cost accounting, including overhead, inventory management, and forecasting

Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and SUMIFs

Ability to balance both tactical day-to-day responsibilities and strategic business discussions
