Job Details
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (8-hour day)
• Location: Piscataway, NJ - 100% Onsite
• Interview Process: Onsite interview with Customer Service Manager
Responsibilities
• Full-cycle order management support for customers
• Manage order entry, material allocation, shipping, returns, invoice disputes, and credit adjustments
• Proactively communicate delays, supply issues, or delivery concerns with customers
• Coordinate pricing, availability, and delivery with internal departments including logistics and commercial teams
• Handle customer complaints, including investigation and resolution
• Maintain up-to-date customer information in SAP
• Provide and manage key documentation: C of A, MSDS, COFA, specifications, etc.
• Access customer portals to retrieve POs and notify customers of order/billing updates
• Represent Account Management in external customer meetings
• Liaise across teams: QC, production, marketing, sales, etc.
• Maintain accurate SOPs and reports for assigned accounts
• Answer inquiries from customer service mailbox and voicemail
• Support credit and A/R in resolving billing disputes
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree + 1 year of relevant business experience preferred
OR
• 4+ years of experience in Customer Care, Sales, or Logistics
• Strong understanding of plant/warehouse systems and shipping procedures
• Familiarity with SAP SD module : sales order, delivery, invoicing, credits/returns
• Prior experience in chemical or fragrance manufacturing highly preferred
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Able to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications
