Maintenance Engineer

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Engineer Location: Audubon PA Type: Direct Hire Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am to 4pm OR 7am to 3pm Pay: Negotiable Start: Immediate Overview: We’re seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to join our manufacturing client's team to ensure packaging equipment operates at peak performance.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving mechanical problems, improving production efficiency, and building or modifying machinery to meet the evolving needs of a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications: Maintain, repair, and service production equipment including piston fillers, cappers, labelers, conveyors, and related systems.

Diagnose equipment issues and perform both reactive and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.

Design and build custom tooling or machine modifications to support production innovation and efficiency.

Collaborate with operations and engineering to optimize line performance, layout, and throughput.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, spare parts, and equipment logs.

Requirements: 3+ years experience in a manufacturing maintenance role, ideally with filling/packaging equipment.

Strong mechanical aptitude; electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting experience a plus.

Experience fabricating or modifying equipment in a production setting.

Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
