Enterprise Architect

We are seeking a seasoned Enterprise Architect for a long term contract position working remotely from anywhere in Texas on a project with our Austin, Texas client performing highly advanced (senior-level) architectural work.

This position involves technical data design, focusing on extract, transform, and load (ETL) functionality, data modeling, and data handling to prepare and source data for visualization purposes using Tableau tools.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into interconnected systems, applications, or process designs for complex technical solutions.

This role offers the opportunity to work under minimal supervision with extensive latitude for initiative and independent judgment.

Key Responsibilities: Perform high-level architectural work, including the design and implementation of ETL functionality, data modeling, and data preparation for business data visualization.Translate business requirements into detailed systems, applications, or process designs, creating interconnected models for large and complex technical solutions.Analyze customer service requirements and design solutions that meet business objectives and provide measurable outcomes.Construct comprehensive Tableau scope documentation and lead development, testing, and implementation efforts for Tableau-driven solutions.Maintain expert-level knowledge of Tableau technologies and industry-leading best practices to develop innovative solutions and deliver meaningful results.Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), advising internal and external stakeholders on technical services, including formal presentations and trusted expertise.Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to manage projects, including requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and executing project plans effectively.Ensure alignment of enterprise architecture to organizational goals for streamlined functionality and sustainability.
