JOB VACANCY NOTICE JOB NUMBER: 25-050-2335 CLOSING DATE: Open Until Filled STARTING SALARY: $49,276 - $55,435 annually, plus excellent benefits POSITION TITLE: Compliance Supervisor DEPARTMENT: MCLE GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Compliance Manager provides a variety of general administrative support services to the MCLE department.

Processes and maintains attorney MCLE compliance, non-compliance, suspension and reinstatement records.

Coordinates tasks assigned to MCLE Compliance Assistants and responds to written and oral inquiries regarding MCLE compliance, non-compliance, suspension and reinstatement.

Coordinates with Operations Manager and assists with accreditation processing.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: Answers a high volume of telephone calls and provides information to attorney members, CLE sponsors and the public.

Assists in maintaining a computerized database of CLE records of attorneys.

Processes correspondence and payments, research information, returns calls, and prepares written responses to inquiries regarding the MCLE program and compliance.

Oversees and coordinates the daily processing of compliance fees, reports, forms and attendance.

Coordinates and/or accomplishes all suspension and reinstatement processing including running suspension lists, assigning work, verifying compliance/non-compliance, meeting suspension deadlines, processing and mailing suspension letters, and creating and maintaining suspension records.

Processes dues delinquent attorneys who have not complied with the MCLE requirements, including identifying dues delinquent/non-complaint attorneys, verifying/updating records, notifying attorneys of MCLE requirements and coordinating with the Membership department to update/clear both MCLE and Membership requirements.

Provides back-up assistance to Operations Manager to provide accreditation processing on over-flow days.

Co-supervises MCLE staff with Operations Manager in absence of MCLE Director.

Performs other responsibilities as required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent required and a minimum of five years of related work experience; some college preferred.

Requires excellent written and oral communication skills, and good judgment and diplomacy in dealing with attorneys, staff, and the public.

Requires knowledge and expertise in the use of personal computers and complex databases.

Word and Excel preferred.
