Proposal Engineer

JOB TITLE: Proposal Engineer JOB LOCATION: Scottsdale, AZ WAGE RANGE*: 55hr to 61hr JOB NUMBER: 2025-66360 ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES: As a systems engineer for Space Force MUOS, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for defining, developing and sustaining enhancements to a live communication system.

We provide warfighters with a familiar cellular phone-like service, allowing forces on the ground to communicate directly with others at higher levels of quality and much greater capacity than available through the current system.

What sets you apart: Strong technical background with the ability to understand and communicate complex engineering concepts.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with defense and aerospace industry standards and practices.

Knowledge of proposal development processes and best practices (e.g., Shipley, APMP). Familiarity with government contracts and acquisition processes.

PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.

Workplace Options: This position is 3 days on site with 2 days working from home.

If preferred, you can also work 100% on site.

While on-site, you will be a part of the MUOS team.
