SAP Ariba SCC Consultant & Project Manager

Job Title: SAP Ariba SCC Consultant & Project Manager Location: Foster city, CA Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated SAP Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC) Consultant with strong project management skills to lead and support our procurement integration landscape.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of hands-on experience with SAP Ariba SCC or related, direct procurement processes, supplier onboarding, and EDI integration in an SAP S/4HANA environment.

Exceptional communication and coordination skills are a must, along with a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end implementation and support of SAP Ariba SCC modules, focusing on Direct Procurement and Supplier Collaboration.

Manage projects involving SAP S/4HANA and Ariba integration, acting as a liaison between business stakeholders, suppliers, and technical teams.

Drive the EDI integration process with vendors, ensuring seamless exchange of PO, ASN, and invoice documents via VANs or direct protocols (AS2, sFTP, etc.). Coordinate supplier onboarding and testing for Ariba SCC and ensure readiness for real-time collaboration.

Design and configure supplier collaboration scenarios (e.g., PO confirmation, ASN, Goods Receipt, and Invoice processing). Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Ariba Network, SAP S/4HANA, and middleware (e.g., SAP CPI). Develop and manage project plans, track milestones, and report on progress and risks.

Provide training and support to internal users and external suppliers on Ariba functionality.

Ensure compliance with data standards, governance policies, and integration best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in SAP procurement domain with at least 5+ years in SAP Ariba SCC.

Strong knowledge of Direct Procurement and Supplier Collaboration processes in SAP S/4HANA (Material Management) Proven expertise in EDI integrations (X12/EDIFACT) including PO, ASN, Invoice flows using VANs or direct integrations.

Hands-on experience with middleware/integration platforms (SAP CPI, PI/PO) Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across business, supplier, and technical teams.

Strong coordination and project management capabilities; PMP certification is a plus.

Familiarity with Ariba Network integration, cXML formats, and supplier enablement processes.

Experience working in agile and hybrid project environments.

Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.

SAP certifications in Ariba and/or S/4HANA modules preferred.
