This role combines technical creativity with hands-on precision to help bring custom cabinets, countertops, and architectural features to life!

Hours & Pay:

Pay Rate: $15.00-$19.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Daily Responsibilities:

Create accurate shop drawings and specifications for woodwork projects using AutoCAD and Cabinetworks software

Collaborate with estimators, project coordinators, and customers to ensure design requirements are met

Prepare and revise technical drawings based on customer feedback and material changes

Perform quality control checks and maintain documentation for all design work

Submit samples for approval and obtain final design sign-off

Organize, archive, and manage digital files to ensure efficient recordkeeping

Suggest design improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste

Assist with administrative or shop-related tasks when necessary

Requirements:

Degree or diploma in Drafting or a related technical field

Minimum 2 years of experience with AutoCAD and 3D drafting

Strong math and spatial reasoning skills

Excellent attention to detail and visual accuracy

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work at a computer for extended periods

Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments
