Position: Packer

Location: Byron Center, MI

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay: $15-$16 per hour

Schedule: 8-hour shiftsKey Responsibilities:

Product Handling: Assemble cartons by folding and closing with hand taper and/or tape machine.

Product Inspection: Visually inspect products for functionality and broken items.

Housekeeping: Perform housekeeping duties for workstations.Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of six (6) months manufacturing experience.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent education preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, bend, stretch for hours at a time. Must be able to lift between 37 and 50 lbs repetitively.

Skills: Ability to hand count via visual inspection. Must be able to read and comprehend written instructions and ensure instructions are met and achieved upon review of completed product.

Communication: Ability to communicate in a professional tone and manner in both verbal and written means.

Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a collaborative team setting.
