Staff Up is seeking an experienced Tool Room Attendant in Houston, TX 77007
Hours: 7:30-4 M-F (May work occasionally work on Saturdays)
Pay Rate: $19/hour
Summary:
As a S/R Clerk & Tool Crib Attendant, you will receive and verify shipments as well as store, issue raw materials, machine tools, replacement parts, shop supplies and equipment.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Keeps records of tools issued to and returned by workers
Searches for lost or misplaced tools
Prepares tooling and work holding for upcoming jobs and stocks as needed
Receives and stores new and returned raw materials
Attach identification tags on raw materials checked out from tool crib
Use set up sheets to prepare tool kits for machinists
Orders tooling and supplies for the department
Organize and maintain raw material inventory through ERP
Develop inventory systems and methods to continuously improve raw material and tool availability and quality
Receive, verify, inspect and process incoming shipments
Data entry for receiving
Participate in the physical verification of inventory when discrepancies are present
Perform inventory cycle counts in accordance with processes and procedures for approved inventory and materials
Manage the receipt of inventory including receiving product and inputting inventory data into the ERP system
Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Standing for long periods of time
