The Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Mobile Phlebotomists to join our team. Responsibilities
Conduct mobile blood collections at various locations following stringent safety protocols.
Engage with donors to explain the donation process and ensure a positive experience.
Perform venipuncture and collect blood samples accurately and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organizational standards of mobile collection units.
Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines in accordance with industry regulations.
Document all donor information and maintain accurate records of collections.
Collaborate with team members to streamline operations and enhance donor engagement.
Requirements
Current certification in Phlebotomy from an accredited program.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in phlebotomy or related field preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Proficiency in using electronic medical records and donation databases.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for mobile outreach duties.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare certifications are a plus.
