Salary: Rate of Pay: $15.00

Principle Responsibilities & Position Purpose:

Maintain the Heat Hotel standards of cleanliness in an efficient professional manner and contribute to an excellent guest experience.

Rate of Pay $15.00 per hour

Cleaning of public restrooms to include toilets, urinals, floors and replacing of paper products and soap

Maintain general lobby and public areas cleanliness to include but not limited to: animal / human waste, sifting ashtrays and mopping spills

Clean walkway and outdoor areas

Clean and maintain all public venues, including Bar/Lounge Area, restrooms, and outdoor space.

Proper use and storage of supplies and tools

Ensure that special requests for cleanliness, maintenance and appearance of the hotel, administrative areas, and public areas are met.

Dusting all public areas on a regular basis

Any maintenance to be reported to head housekeeper or supervisor

Ensure all tiled floors are cleaned on a daily basis and carpet and carpet in public areas space is vacuumed.

Ensure customer experience meets or exceeds expectations. Handle customers concerns and requests with a positive attitude.

- Assist in laundry to prepare morning crew for necessary check-ins.

Sweeping, Mopping, and assisting in all

Notify supervisor if any items are in low inventory

Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct.

Ensures the proper maintenance of all departed related equipment

Other duties may be assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor/Lead, Assistant General Manager and/or General Manager

OTHER DUTIES

Regular attendance in conformance with standards which may be established by the Company from time to time is essential to the successful performance of this position.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

OSHA laws require the use of the following Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when performing work duties that have the potential of risk to your health or safety:

Back support belt is required to be worn throughout the day and especially when lifting heavy objects. Protective gloves and eye protection may be required on occasion.

Read and ensure understanding and full compliance with the Company Illness and Injury Prevention Program.

Employees will be trained in the proper use and care of assigned PPE. The company provides the required PPE. It is your responsibility to report defective damaged or lost PPE, or equipment that does not fit properly, to your Manager.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

Able to read, write and speak the English language fluently to interact with customers and employees. Strong verbal communication and writing skills.

Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods and seasons.

Ability to handle multiple priorities at the same time.

Technical knowledge of maintenance equipment and cleaning supplies

Experience

Previous Cleaning Crew / Housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred

Grooming

All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance in accordance with Company standards.
