Job Description
The Data Collector is responsible for collecting primary, secondary, quantitative and qualitative data through recorded data, statistical surveys and sampling. Also expected to extract relevant and pertinent data, and collect data from primary resources using company systems and software. The data collector assists the business units by creating visual tracking of the information to identify areas of opportunities and achievement of goals and objectives such as on-time production, reduced costs, quality and safety.
Personalities may include
Collect, organize and maintain company-specific data and reports for production, labor distribution, attendance, efficiency, safety, parts, quality, etc.
Enter data into appropriate systems/data bases/files
Track and report NCN (Non-Conformance Notification)
Review ISO documents and update with ME’s
LFP data entry daily and update LFP reports, Dashboards, and projects
Record scrap reports daily, weekly and monthly
Verify DFP entry into MAPICS
Create Pivot Charts and tables for data tracking and reporting
Order and track supplies for department
Administer recognition programs for department
Assist supervisors with projects as needed

Must be skilled in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook and database applications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Physical Requirements / Working Environment:
Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations. Manufacturing environment with forklift traffic. May have higher noise volume in areas – hearing protection required.
