Position Summary Perform merchandise administrative & operational functions to support the buying team by coordinating activities involved with SKU creation, assortment planning and attribute maintenance.

Position Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Own SKU creation set up and maintenance

Receive and import supplier data entries from the Product Information Management (PIM) system

Process data and create SKU Sheets for Buyer review and approval; Execute SKU Sheets based on buyer’s directive

Set up pricing and attributes for SKU creation (inline and sample SKUs)

Regular maintenance of SKU attribute changes including add/drops; Communicate essential information with cross-functional partners, such as Planning team and Suppliers

Create and manage new product POs

Create, track and manage purchase orders for new product

Communicate with suppliers, retail teams and/or accounting on discrepancies

Weekly review and follow-up of past due POs

Own and maintain the Furniture Line Up excel document

Ensure template is updated by buyer/ assortment/ new company initiatives

Daily updates to assortment changes, ETA’s, new and dropped product

Distribute updates twice a week to buyers and retail teams

Pricing maintenance

Own price change weekly calendar

Partner with buyer to execute price changes and promotions

Cross-functional partnership with internal and external teams

Execute and communicate weekly buyer notes to internal and external teams

Consistent communication and partnership to support cross-functional teams, such as e-commerce, retail, and visual merchandising, on product related updates/ issues/ changes

Own communication with suppliers on SKUs, attributes, pricing, and PO related issues

Internal Systems - All job related functions will need to be maintained in various internal systems

Qualifications

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent General Education Diploma (GED). 2 years of experience in retail or retail office administration/operations. Reporting and analysis experience a plus. Ability to understand and influence higher level product needs, strategy, and business goals is preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word & Excel. Experience in Product Information systems is preferred.

Position Hiring Range

The hiring pay range provides a guide for what we would reasonably pay for the position. Pay will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant’s education, relevant work experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Pay is determined by various factors including market demand, applicable skills, work experience and education, location, company budget, and in-demand skill sets.

Compensation: $21.00 - $27.25

Retail, Guest Services, and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI’s.
