Clean Harbors in Phoenix, AZ is seeking Class A Drivers to support operations at a high-profile customer site. This is a site-based position where drivers will operate yard goats and day cabs to move, connect, and disconnect ISO tanks within a controlled yard environment.
This role offers a 12-hour rotating shift schedule—ideal for drivers looking for stable work with a strong safety culture and long-term opportunity.
Location: Customer site in Phoenix, AZ
Schedule:
• 4 days on 4 days off 4 nights on 4 days off
• 12-hour shifts, rotating days/nights
Equipment: Yard goat, day cab, ISO tanks
Night shift differential: Additional $0.50-$1.00/hour depending on shift assignment
Environment: Industrial yard
PPE & Safety Requirements:
Must be willing and able to wear Tychem suits and respirators as part of daily job duties
Must be clean shaven at all times to ensure proper respirator fit per OSHA requirements

Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner
Operate yard goats and day cabs to safely reposition ISO tanks within the customer site
Connect and disconnect ISO tanks per site instructions
Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers when needed (team atmosphere where everyone helps)
Manual labor on site to ensure fulfillment of customer needs
Proper placarding of vehicles to meet Company and DOT requirements/regulations
Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and various reports
Follow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules
Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial) and federal requirements
Safely observe all corporate operating guidelines and procedures
Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines
Performs other duties as assigned
Valid Class A CDL with no automatic restriction
Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (must have prior to start)
Must pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
Willingness to work rotating day/night shifts, weekends, and holidays
Preferred:
Experience with ISO tanks
Familiarity with yard goat or day cab operation
Prior work in industrial, environmental, or high-security sites
