Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks.

Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management.

Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services.

Conveys a positive image of the clinic.

May be assigned to a specific medical specialty to help with patient care related to that specialty.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Proficient with Electronic Health Records

Certified Medical Assistant Certification

BLS certification through the American Heart Association

Preferred Job Requirements:

One (1) year of experience
