As a cornerstone of our quality team, you'll conduct daily audits, lead the implementation and evaluation of our QAPI program, and work collaboratively with clinical leadership to translate data into meaningful improvements. Your efforts will drive initiatives that enhance both patient and employee experiences. This position also includes some field work, participation in manager calls, and backup call responsibilities-supporting a team deeply committed to upholding the dignity and comfort of our hospice patients and their families.

Our Quality Assurance RNs:
Provides initial, first 90-day training, and ongoing educational opportunities and in-services to hospice employees to meet quality standards, agency policy and all regulatory standards. Advises employees of any changes or updates in the QAPI program.
Completes daily audits according to the agency's written QAPI plan/schedule.
Organizes, implements, and evaluates the QAPI program for hospice according to all company standards, professional standards, all laws and other regulations, and identified agency needs.
Collects and analyses data and utilizes outcome analysis to develop patient and employee education and QAPI initiatives in cooperation with the clinical management team.
Some field work expectations and managers call, and backup call required
A few must-haves for Quality Assurance RN:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN license in Louisiana
Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in hospice
Minimum of 3 years of management and/or leadership experience
Experience performing quality assurance reviews in a hospice care setting
CPR certification
Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations
Clinical proficiency in nursing specialty, strong communication skills and compassion
