Job Description
Job Function:
Basic Function Operate die-cut machines through setup, run and tear down. Produce a quality product with minimal scrap.
Specific Duties
Set up machine aligning register guides. Make sure set-up is approved by the supervisor prior to run.
Review tolerances on blueprint and verify die is still in tolerance.
Run die cutter while maintaining register, and cut quality according to customer specs.
Perform all tear down tasks following completion of a run.
Advise supervisor of dies requiring repair or sharpening.
Oil and grease die cutter as needed. Keep machine, die racks, and work center clean and organized.
Continually monitor product to assure the parts meet specifications.
Record date, quantity and initial operation on job jacket.
Keep immediate work area clean and orderly.
Do all other duties as assigned.
