Position: Mechanical Build Specialist

Shift: M-F, Some Saturdays 6am-6pm

Pay: $30/hr

Location: Rocky Mount, NC

Mechanical Build Specialist – Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Build Specialist to lead and execute high-quality mechanical assembly of industrial and automation equipment. This role involves supervising build teams, collaborating with engineering and project management, and overseeing mechanical build from start to finish, including startup, debug, and customer support. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting drawings, ensuring build quality, supporting installation and service needs, and maintaining safety standards. Candidates must have 5–10 years of experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Requirements:

5–10 years of mechanical assembly or automation experience

Strong leadership and organizational skills

Proficient in reading technical drawings and collaborating cross-functionally

Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office)

Willingness to travel as needed
