Job Description

Position Summary:

The Fabricator is responsible for measuring, cutting, and assembling structural steel components based on blueprints and specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical instructions

Measure, cut, bend, and weld steel components using hand and power tools

Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, shears, torches, grinders, and welders

Assemble steel structures to specified tolerances

Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Follow all safety procedures and wear proper PPE

Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

1+ year of experience in metal fabrication or related field (preferred)

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Skilled in MIG, TIG, or Stick welding (certification a plus)

Familiarity with metal shop tools and machinery

Strong attention to detail and quality

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
