Salary:
Equestrian Program Manager
Location: Seamark Ranch Green Cove Springs, FL
Status: Part-Time (24 hours/week; three days per week including evenings/weekends as needed)
Reports To: Director of Programs
Position Summary:
Seamark Ranch is looking for an experienced and mission-driven Equestrian Program Manager to lead and expand our equine-based youth programming. This role is exclusively focused on delivering Christian, trauma-informed horsemanship experiences for children in residential care and families in crisis from the broader community. The Program Manager will be responsible for developing curriculum, coordinating volunteers, managing grants, and working with our clinical and development teams to ensure program excellence and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Leadership:
- Design and deliver faith-based equestrian programming for youth and families in crisis
- Lead therapeutic and instructional sessions that promote healing, confidence, and growth
- Develop curriculum for group lessons, one-on-one sessions, camps, and seasonal events
- Incorporate Christian devotionals and prayer as part of regular programming
Collaboration & Documentation:
- Work closely with collaborative care team to align program goals with each youth's needs
- Maintain accurate records of sessions, student progress, and program outcomes
- Partner with the Clinical Director to ensure documentation supports insurance billing
- Collaborate with the Development Director to manage grants and track required metrics
- Assist with writing grant applications for program funding
Volunteer Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers for programming (e.g., sidewalkers, mentors)
- Ensure all volunteers understand trauma-informed approaches and safety expectations
Community Engagement:
- Represent Seamark Ranch's equestrian programs in the local community
- Develop relationships with referring agencies, churches, and support networks
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in equine therapy, riding instruction, or equine program leadership
- Certification in PATH Intl., EAGALA, CHA, or similar is preferred
- Experience working with youth from families in crisis
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Strong alignment with Seamark Ranch's Christian mission and values
Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift 50 lbs
