KOMAN Eco Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with an environmental engineering background to support our Department of Defense contracts at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia.

Essential Functions:
Oversees technical assignments, supervises, and reviews the work of other professionals involved in specific environmental or engineering projects, and provides field consultations as needed.
Directs complex projects requiring integrating refined environmental or engineering techniques with the outputs of other disciplines.
Leads efforts that develop engineering recommendations and advice. Renders professional opinions at specific phases of hazardous waste site assessment and remediation projects.
Directs and supervises a staff of engineers and scientists in support of environmental projects.
Develops and refines new engineering techniques to improve quality.
Plans and performs engineering research, design development, and other assignments in conformance with design, engineering, and customer specifications.
Leading, scoping, and planning field investigation and sampling events by developing the technical approach and serving as the lead author of project planning documents.
Responsible for the technical and engineering aspects of a major project, or a project of substantial complexity and importance that is typically assigned to a higher-level engineer.
Supervises and mentors the technical staff responsible for daily activities.
Coordinates the activities of technicians assigned to specific engineering projects.
Responsible for leading exceptional teams to deliver successful projects for our clients. The SPM will engage internally throughout the organization with staff at all levels, and externally with clients, members of business and professional organizations, regulatory agencies, subconsultants, and other firms. Specific responsibilities of a SPM include, but are not limited to, the following:
Define project objectives, procedures, and performance standards, while leading multi-disciplinary teams through proposals, planning studies, feasibility analyses, and final designs and services.
Develop and manage the approved scope, budget, and schedule from start to finish on multiple projects simultaneously
Identify appropriate resources and skill sets to achieve project objectives as well as manage contract terms, track and manage costs and schedules, and implement measures necessary to stay on schedule and within budget
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field is required.
Professional Engineer (PE) certification is required.
10 years of relevant work experience is required.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are required to develop and maintain relationships with clients, internal staff/departments, and outside agencies
Flexible to adapt to evolving project requirements and client requests
Capable of managing multiple projects and personnel simultaneously
High level of professionalism and discretion with sensitive data
Strong working knowledge of standard PC software (Excel, Word, Project, Access, PowerPoint)
Highly proficient in advanced functions of Excel required
