Overview
CTG is seeking to fill a Senior Functional Verification Engineer - Quantum Hardware for our client in Rochester, MN.
Location: Rochester, MN
Duration: 12 months
Duties:
Verification Ownership: Lead verification triage for microprocessor components, identifying functional and performance issues prior to silicon production. Apply industry best practices and creative methodologies to drive robust verification processes.
Documentation and Communication: Maintain detailed documentation of verification issues for future analysis and process improvement. Communicate progress clearly with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, highlighting key achievements and potential obstacles.
Collaboration: Collaborate effectively within a cross-site, multidisciplinary team focused on the development of next-generation Quantum computing hardware.
Skills:
Strong analytical and debugging skills for complex systems
Proficiency in C++ or similar object-oriented programming languages
Experience with UVM, Fusion/rtx, or comparable verification frameworks
Ability to read and interpret VHDL or Verilog
Python or scripting language proficiency
Strong communication and documentation capabilities
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the tech/computing industry
Prior experience in functional verification, testing, validation, triage, or failure analysis
Experience in Agile and DevOps environments is a plus
Preferred: 10+ years of industry experience and interdisciplinary design experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (Required)
Visa Restrictions: Must be a U.S. Citizen due to requirements of Quantum computing work.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
