Sanitation Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sanitation Workers to join our client's team!

Location: Phoenix, AZ!

Schedule: Monday-Friday / 8-Hour Shifts

Pay rate: $18 - $20

Duties:

Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of production equipment, floors, walls, and other surfaces following standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Ensure all cleaning meets food safety and quality standards, including GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), SSOPs (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures), and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) guidelines

Disassemble and reassemble machinery for deep cleaning as needed

Properly handle and use cleaning chemicals and sanitation tools

Document sanitation activities accurately and completely

Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors immediately

Work safely and wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

Support audits and inspections related to sanitation

Follow all safety and company policies and procedures

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Prior sanitation experience in a food manufacturing environment

Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Comfortable working in wet, cold, or warm environments

Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

Flexible to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, or overtime if needed
