Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Engineer with strong development expertise in Python and PostgreSQL to support and enhance mission-critical systems. This role demands a hands-on professional who can manage incident analysis, system maintenance, and implement essential enhancements with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, dependable, and possess strong analytical and communication skills to work effectively across teams and ensure operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Perform incident analysis and troubleshoot complex production issues

Conduct system maintenance, health checks, and validations

Develop, validate, and implement critical changes and enhancements

Remediate system vulnerabilities to meet security standards

Deliver OE (Operational Excellence) enhancements and support OL (Operational Logistics) demands

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for resolution and improvements

Document changes, procedures, and incidents

Required Skills & Qualifications

4+ years of professional experience with Python in backend or system-level development

Strong expertise in PostgreSQL, including complex queries and performance tuning

Experience in diagnosing and resolving production incidents

Knowledge of system maintenance and change management

Familiarity with vulnerability management and remediation

Ability to work independently and solve problems efficiently

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with REST APIs, Flask or FastAPI

Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices

Familiarity with Linux systems and shell scripting

Experience in high-availability or regulated environments
