Job Summary:
This company is a leading manufacturer of industrial laundry equipment, is seeking a skilled Combination Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating components used in heavy machinery, ensuring high-quality and durable welds. This role requires expertise in multiple welding techniques, blueprint reading, and adherence to safety standards.
Pay:
$18-$24
Schedule:
6am-3pm
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various metals, including stainless steel and carbon steel.
Fabricate and assemble machine components according to blueprints and specifications.
Inspect welds for quality, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Operate welding equipment, grinders, and cutting tools safely and efficiently.
Work collaboratively with engineers and production teams to meet project deadlines.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following OSHA and company safety protocols.
Required Experience:
3+ years of experience in combination welding, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Experience welding different metals, including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
Nice-to-Have Experience:
Experience working with large industrial machinery or heavy equipment.
Familiarity with robotic welding or CNC cutting equipment.
Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and best practices.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with grinding, cutting, and finishing welded components.
Understanding of welding safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
Basic knowledge of machining and metalworking tools
