Job Summary
The IT/AV Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and supporting the organization's on-site internet connectivity and audio-visual systems, ensuring all technologies meet current standards for performance, security, and long-term reliability. This role involves reviewing, optimizing, and repairing systems as needed, while also playing a key part in the ongoing infrastructure modernization. The IT/AV Coordinator collaborates closely with multiple departments to ensure each team has dependable and efficient AV and connectivity solutions that support daily operations and enhance the overall member and guest experience.
Key Job Responsibilities
Survey and document the status of existing IT/AV systems.
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot AV systems and IT equipment (projectors, display, conferencing tools, printers, laptops, etc.)
Coordinate with external IT services providers to maintain systems, apply updates, and ensure adherence to current best practices and security standards
Support the Events department in providing custom solutions to clients with specific AV needs site wide.
Continuously assess and optimize IT/AV systems to improve usability, efficiency, and overall reliability across all platforms.
Support onboarding /offboarding of employees, including computer set setup, software installation, and account access configuration
Assis with network connectivity and system uptime troubleshooting throughout the property
Maintain accurate documentation of systems configurations and support procedures
Skills & Qualification Requirements
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Audio/Visual Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of experience in IT support and/or AV coordinator, ideally in a commercial/residential / hospitality environment.
Strong understanding of networking basics, computer hardware/software, and AV equipment
Proficiency in modern IT/AV systems, including but not limit to Crestron, Q-SYS, Cisco, Netgear, etc.
Must be willing to work variable schedules, evenings, weekends, and off hours as needed
A passion for motorsports and automotive environments is a plus, but not required
Strong ability to multitask and time management
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Work Environment
This job may be performed indoors or outdoors and may involve a high level of noise in the work environment. This job has intermittent levels of high stress
Physical Demands
The candidate must have the ability to stand for long periods of time, lift, stoop, bend, reach, and carry 25+ pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
The employee is expected to work an alternating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
