LOCATION: Remote, Florida Office

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Developing applications and integrated solutions in support of customer requirements
Automating the deployment of new applications and services to the infrastructure using infrastructure as code principles, CI/CD pipeline
Developing automated tests using provided testing framework as well as custom solutions
Developing client install packages for across-the-wire system deployments and system upgrades
Mentoring engineers to encourage growth in automation technologies
Writing implementation, SOP, and design documents describing how to use developed automation techniques
Participating in a Change Management processes
Performing requirements analysis, design, and integration for complex software application environments and collaboration infrastructures
Participate in technology evaluation and reengineering teams to support strategy-definition and continuous process improvement activities
Develop, enhance, and maintain automation of cloud enablement tools
Participate in the design, implementation and management of workload automation initiatives
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science, Math, Electrical Engineering or related field) or equivalent, and 10 years of related experience
DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification required (CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, Sec+, CND or SSCP)
DoD 8570 computing environment certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure
Experienced with source control and code repository tools
Experience developing within Windows and/or Linux environments
Experience with software architecture development leveraging open standards, microservices, and model-based engineering tools to articulate the software design
Experience working with automation technologies
Experience with enterprise systems in a client, server or cloud environment, including deployment automation tools
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
DoD 8570 computing environment certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure, VMware VCP7 – CMA within 6 months of hire. Company provides training support.
Knowledge and application of orchestration and container platform technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Open-shift, and Azure DevOps
Knowledge and application of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) technologies such as GitLab, Azure DevOps Pipeline, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, Cucumber, Junit, pytest, Nexus, Fortify, SonarQube, Twistlock, and Grafana
